About 10 or a dozen years back I did some serious ebay shopping for UK pressings of The Beatles. The above Sgt. Peppers Mono was one of those. A nice quiet, clear sounding pressing.
The mono mix was the one chosen by The Beatles as a group. The stereo mix was by Geo. Martin, Geoff Emmerick and the crew in the studio after The Fab Four had gone home. It took the engineers and producer less than a day to knock out the stereo version.
My take; the original mono mix is a good one to have. I'm not certain I'll want to invest in this new re-mix. Though I'm sure its a great listen.

Ps I do have a YB-Parlophone Stereo mix Sgt. Peppers as well. My preference between those two is the mono.
