I started getting a pop when spinning records irrespective of whether the cartridge is on or off the record. The pop comes in at 1 minute intervals and does not stop! The Turntable ground wire is connected. Is this static, a magntized cartridge, motor generated? Any idea of how I could go about fixing this. The turntable is a VPI Traveler, cartridge Dynavector 20x2l, Phono Musical Fidelity xlps v3. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

- a capacitor is dying.. IMO anyway...IT is charging up and when it reaches 'x' V+ it breaks down POP. nt - 3+4=5 08:43:12 04/19/17 (1)
