If you have a stonemason near you, check the possibilities of having some pillars cut from granite or marble (or other stone he/she might have. You can custom cut them to be the same bottom dimensions as your speakers, and cut to the right height. I have a pair made from unpolished marble and they are excellent. Cost about $80 for the pair.
