I did not go to the store to buy these. My dealer (who has a $500 K system set up in store with 3 pods) recommended that I try them and gave me two to try totally risk free. I was sceptical and did not expect any effect. What I am hearing in my system is no more placebo than the effect of a tube change. Don't you have a long thread gushing about some JJ small signal tube? I actually tried that tube before commenting, I would never comment on the effect of something (that someone else started a thread on) without actually trying it.
I could care less if you believe the pods are snake oil, I already said they were. It's the "I have not tried it but KNOW it can't be doing anything (and I KNOW it all!) so you must be hearing things"attitude that I can't stand. Especially on an audio tweaking forum.
