The fuse value for a low-current device such as an audio preamplifier is not necessarily written in stone. Fuse values of less than 500mA for an analog device such as a preamplifier seems unusually low. Concern about safety or damage to the circuitry caused by a 300mA gap is a non-issue in this case, IMO. I wouldn't suggest doing so unless I would also do it for my own wants/needs, KanedaK. Perhaps another AA Inmate will toss-in their own 2 cents.
