Yep the light and small components work great with the brushes.
I have a heavy but relatively small power regerator and I bought a metal brush that you would screw a wood stick too and use it to sweep a shop floor. It is plenty strong to support the component so i am thinking some heavy amps could work with that kind of brush. I think it was called Toughy or something.
What do you mean "maybe the brush is to use the way up?" Do you mean bristles down? I notice that you are using it the opposite of what I am which is bristles up. wonder if it makes a difference.
