I use and enjoy classic J.A. Michell Engineering Small Tenderfeet machined billet aluminum cones, and the Nerve Audio equivalent of the Large Tenderfeet machined billet aluminum cones. When implemented in conjunction with other vibration control devices such as Herbie's Audio Lab compliant pads, metal coupling discs, and wooden platforms, the contribution of the aluminum cones seem to provide what I consider to be a relatively transparent, quick sonic signature.
