I got all 12 tubes from SND Tube sales. I probably paid a little more than I needed to, but I wanted to start tube rolling right away and didn't want to spend a lot of time hunting around. Now that I have a set of Amperex's in my pre and CDP, I can take my time hunting for my life time supply. BTW, I just got 6 more Amperex 7308s (in green boxes) on the way from a successful bid on eBay.The Amperex 6922s in my pre are slightly mixed. Four are orange label and 2 are white label. I think they are all US. The Amperex 7308s are in United boxes, but Mike at SND says they are identical to Amperex US made 7308s, just in different boxes.
Can you give me a hint about what I should be looking for to happen in a few days? Pleeeeeeeeze!!!!! (-:
