Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |
|
I went to replace a couple of 12au7 tubes in my preamp with some RCA Clear Tops that I've had sitting on the shelf for some years and found that the pins are heavily oxidized. They may work fine as they are, but I'd rather clean them up first.
Recommended method? I don't have any Deoxit or contact cleaner here.
