RE: 6U8 vs 6GH8 vs 6BL8 sub for 7199 needed

I'm just figuring that the 7199s are pretty much a dead issue. I REALLY like my Sherwood and the 7199s have always had an iffy tone in debates over sound. I figure this is a good opportunity to MAYBE move it up a notch to a 6BL8.

This Sherwood is kind of special to me. I can rewiring the socket which will allow me to roll and tweak a few other tubes. Where as with the 7199s you're kind of stuck.
