I just popped in a quad of the classic RCA 6v6gt grey glass in my audio amp and I think they are very impressive. I was listening to the GE 6v6gta big box tubes. The RCA's are much more accurate IMO , much clearer, less fuzzy, less wooly, and better image focus while retaining lots of harmonic richness. Voices are much improved. Much more musical with better bass than the touted Tungsol RI. Just my two cents. They beat the Russians, which is a pretty good tube, the Ken Rad which some love but I found I didn't like at all, and the GE which I thought was pretty good until I heard the RCA. There is a reason this tube is so famous. Some don't like it for audio but at this point I don't know why. T456
