Dutch giant Philips owned the rights to any number of brands. Pope is but 1 of them. People talk about Dutch Amperex, but there really is no such thing. True Amperex was made at Hicksville, NY.
Boxes and labels may have little meaning. What matters is the plant the tubes were produced in and the date of manufacture. Obviously, there is nothing wrong with tubes made at Blackburn. Somebody more knowledgeable than me will decode the date info.
