enemies of plastics, including wire jackets. Plastic can also crack if stressed when very cold. Otherwise, depending on your local electrical codes, most wires, especially wire with thick, soft, flexible jackets like 18 or 16 gauge Monster Cable and Radio Shack speaker wire, should do. I would not expect this to be as critical a sound application as a primary audiophile listening system, so good cables gould be a waste, IMHO.Dave VH
