I have the Matrix 805s and I love them. Altho' the Nautilus looks better and has some technical improvements I believe the sound is still much the same. Try them with your amp, tt and cd as there may be a problem system matching but in general they are system friendly. They do show up bad recordings when matched with analytical amps/sources.For a small room and at the price I really rate them, however you shoul;d audition a couple of others of the same quality and if you get the chance try the Ruark Equinox.
