Aragon, Proceed, Krell, or Parasound w/ NHT 2.9s?

I own a pair of NHT 2.9s which are the mains in my system (65/35 Music/HT) I am looking for a great amp/pre combo that will provide exceptional image, soundstage and clarity for these speakers. To date, I have only heard them paired with the Krell KAV-250a and Krell KAV-250p and I liked the combo a great deal. Other people have recommended the following amplifiers:
Proceed HPA2
Aragon 8088BB
Parasound HCA-3500A
Obviously, these are the amps to be used for mains/music listening. I will get the matching 3-channels for my HT. Does anyone have pre-amp suggestions to match these amps as well? Any advice would be appreciated. Thnaks in advance
