I was convinced by a knowledgable friend of mine to upgrade from large Monster cables to MIT cables, and then to upgrade again to MIT Tube Terminators. There was an amazing difference in terms of coherence and staging with each upgrade. Even more interesting, it took the MITs about 200 hours to really "break in" , just like the literature that came with the cables said it would. I called MIT and talked to their tech support people about it- asked what this "break in" was all about, in a fully passive componant. " We can't explain it..." they said. " We just observe it , it happens over and over again. It's there. We have no theory and no explanation." I really liked that- no BS, no sales job. It's just there. I have tube AR amp and preamp, Vandersteen speakers and the MITs work real well for me.JIm
