If you, the OP, are interested in the art, science, and...well... everything else... of open baffles, you might want to pick a rainy weekend, brew up a pot of tea, get a tray of tasty snackkies, and peruse the 212-ish page behemoth of a thread on OBs that sprouted & took root at AK some time back.

The signal to noise ratio may be poor, but there's plenty of content to pore through.

More than one route to the top of the mountain, as they say. ;)
