and have a few of their bookshelf models BA CR8 and CR7. I bought the CR7 because I read somewhere that the co-owner of BA Andy Kosatos thought that the CR7 was the jewel of the CR line. I would concur with that assessment. The CR8 is a little darker sound although the top end is more articulate probably due to the Kortec tweeter . For some reason or other I was never a fan of of the Lynnfield series of speakers even though the cabinets were far and away improved over the CR series. I also have BA coaxial speakers in my little Scion that I like as well. It is funny that YOU mentioned Advent... Years ago I had a pair of Baby Advent speakers that I quite liked. The overall sound I liked except for the top end which sizzled a little too much for me. Then I read that the original Baby Advent had a soft dome tweeter prior to them switching to the mylar tweeter. Those original Baby Advents have been on my radar for a while now and will be until I acquire a pair. I have seen your posts regarding the Tivoli radio before and have been curious about the product... They certainly are cool in a retro kind of way. I saw one once for sale at a local used audio shop, but could not manage to hear it. Someday....
