Constrained layer damping

I like to build my larger boxes with an outer shell of BB ply, glued to an inner shell of MDF or particle board with an adhesive that remains flexible after curing. This, combined with 1" dowel braces connecting opposing panels center-to-center, results in some pretty non-resonant boxes. Sure they're heavy, but hey -- humping around 150+ lb subwoofers is good exercise!
