The Halcro was not the best measuring amp , it had the lowest THD as measuremed by stereophile , this was debunked years ago and if you look at Stereophile's bench measurments there were many signs of issues , especially with any load below 8ohms ..
Their recent test on the boulder power amp is one of the best i have ever seen in print , fantastic achivement by Boulder ...
