I think what mr.bear is trying to say is if you are going the route of stereo subs or stacked system - these "ain't" the way to do it.
You have a very classic and refined looking system and setup. That path will only end up in endless tweaking with no real end in sight. Been there!!!
As for art I'm a big fan and have an extensive collection.
