Klipsch Cornwall II...worth getting if not updating?

Have a chance of picking up a pair in good shape locally for a decent price. I had a pair of earlier Verticals a while back, sold them, and regretted it. So I'm seriously considering these, but I don't have the time nor inclination to change the crossovers, or anything else. Is it still worthwhile to get them and use them as is, or are these speakers that must undergo updates in order to sound decent?
