Hi--A Fluke in changing interconnects this weekend shorted out my receiver and seems to have damaged my Martin Logan Montage speakers. In pulling out a very snug interconnect from the back of my Denon receiver, it lifted out the round metal covering for the input. Next thing I know, a loud hum came through any receiver input I tried. WORST of all, my speakers lost their sparkle--they now sound muffled and the music sounds like it is coming from a transistor radio -- from AM radio. I'm upset, but would appreciate advice about what may have happened to my beloved speakers, and could they be "repairable" at a reasonable cost???? Thanks...
