General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

Re: where will speaker design be 10-25 years from now?

woofers will be obsolete, as the corporate magnates will've convinced people that still LISTEN to music off of earbuds that all you need is sub 30hz and over 12k. subs'll be made of coagulated emulsions of refrigerator magnets and the cone'sll be made of recycled clam packaging from cell phones and/or golf course clippings. the supertweeters'll be made of pot metal, and as per now, be at least 5db louder than they should be-- 20 for 'audiophile' applications.

fortunately, high efficiency will become necessary, as all amplifiers will be found in cufflink sized audio devices-- so 20mW amp chips'll be all the rage due to the lack of honest iron, so the 15 gauss magnets in the subs'll do just fine. since trees'll be extinct-- mdf made from toilet paper gleaned from the sewage processing plant will make speakers even HEAVIER however..

but that's just a guess...
