Midnight Oil's "Diesel & Dust" tour (got to shake vocalist Peter Garrett's hand as he exited tour bus), & Little Feat come-back tour NYE 89/90, with Bonnie Raitt supporting her "Nick of Time" album. Bonnie had to come out & retrieve her guitar after jamming with Little Feat following end of concert jam session. She blew kisses to her adoring fans up in the balcony! Several months later, she was a Grammy goddess!!! ... BTW saw the Oils about a decade later inside Berkeley's Greek Theatre. Some so-n-so was getting a little too rowdy in front of stage mosh pit (mosh pits for the Oils did seem anathema to their cause). As he was being hauled away, Garrett asked security to be gentle with him. 73s para Sactown
