Presidio Hill JHS was an experimental off shoot of Presidio Hill Elementary in SF. Our curriculum for the first year I was there was government and the school year ended with a cross country trip to Washington DC. There we were a co-ed, multi racial group of kids with a couple of hippy teachers traveling in an old school bus in the late sixties through the south west and the south, going to the capitol and other government buildings and Ralph Nader's office. The two yeas I went there had a profound effect on my life.
