Sublime music here, especially the late quartets. My favorites are the Yale Quartet on Vanguard for the late quartets. Primo IMHO! I have the Italiano set of the late q's which is good , but not up to the Yalies.I would like to hear the Vegh Quartet sometime. I'm looking for a set of the op. 18. I have heard some of the Alban Berg renditions and I'm wondering if there are better.
