I don't follow you too well here but if we ended religion tomorrow we would not lose art or the stories or the music associated with religion. Like any fairy tale one can appreciate the likes of "The Lord of the Rings" or Star Trek. One can enjoy the stories of the Greek Gods who at the time people believed in - art and statues were created.

A Christian can go to India and enjoy the art without believing in their religion.

Everyone is an Atheist about every other God but their own. An Atheist just goes 1 God further.

"Most people who have some structured system of beliefs tend to do better in life." That structure does not need to come from religion. Poor countries are the most religious because their lives are horrible so they need to believe that in the next life things will be better. Happy wealthy nations have no use for fairy tales - they know there is one life and you better try and enjoy it while you can.

They are more successful in large part because they believe in science and facts and do not as easily succumb to conmen like Trump and Evangelicals and QAnon. If you are gullible enough to buy into the fairy tale of religion you are gullible enough to think Trump is chosen by God and the Jews are firing space lasers at California.

When looking at religion the problem is there are so many of them and they can't all be right and people kill if you don't agree with them.
