It's all about the music, dude! Sit down, relax and listen to some tunes.

Detroit/Paray merc test pressings or acetetes?

I hope I'm not violating any cross posting rules, but I'm trying to figure out what these Detroit/Paray disks really are, both performance and disk. They may be test pressings or acetates.

I posted pictures and data over in Vinyl.

There's three recordings, Debussy, Suppe, Offenbach.

I'm hoping someone here might have more info. One person suggested that acetates could be different mixes/performances than the production cut, which would be amazing.

Any thoughts/ideas?

Finding these has me listening to all my merc's. Prokofiev concerto 3 right now. Janis/Moscow. Great performance... though I've always had a fondness for Askenazy.
