I say we dump PC Audio and Hi-Res, and put everything non-analog under Digital. That will stop the confusion. Or as someone already suggested, maybe rename Digital to the Plastic Media forum. That should cover CD & SACD but then the video guys might start posting about DVD and Blu-Ray but hey, it's all Plastic disc based right?
Or.... lets create a forum called Round Media. All that analog stuff can be dumped in there including vinyl, reel to reel tape, CD, SACD, DVD-A, DVD, Blu-Ray, Laser Disc - and hopefully no one will get confused and start post about disk drives. But then where will the cassette and 8-track guys post? Heck, where will the DAC posts go?
Back to square 2: I suggest dumping everything and anything Digital into the Digital forum. That should cover everything that is not purely analog, right? Maybe?
