No, still their famous black and chrome, but certainly not blue meters and illuminated green logo. Also, they must have been less expensive, for those who just had to have a McIntosh.
I get the meter appeal, or at least I did in my 20s. I bought a SAE IVDM which was a power amp designed by James Bongiorno, later of Ampzilla fame. I could have bought the IVD, sans meters, but NO, I paid more for the all but useless (to me) meters.
