this was not meant for home audio but for recording studios & mastering facilities, but we are all jealous as it's really nice for its surgical precision and transparency. There are other such EQ's but this one is made to Manley standards. Cello had one and a few others as well.
I've found that most recordings, even some classical, need a bit of EQ that was deficient from the mastering house. But most importantly it's a great tool for the playback system in the home setup. Nothing and nobody is perfect except the live performance soundwise but we all know that.
I'm just sayin'
