for the ODAMI suck at reviews. What I can tell you is these ODAM's are sweet. I put a pair in my Quicksilver Preamp, replacing OEM plastic, which feeds a Qucksilver GLA (with OEM plastic). These are made with a lot of copper, including the leads, so the usual copper break-in allowance will be required - 2+ hrs to hear anything, 5+ hrs to begin full spectrum, 10 hrs will have you drooling, 25+ hrs to sweetness, 125+ for the rest. Pure, detailed, crispy, full tight bass (had to turn down the subs a notch after only 5 hrs), lower noise than plastic, lower hum out of the GLA amp. So I finally put on some Lana Del Rey Norman Fucking Rockwell for a real listen and IMMEDIATELY that Baldwin Upright against-the-wall-piano was transformed into an opened up Steinway Grand middle-stage in the concert hall. Wow! Guitars shimmer with harmonics, acoustic and electric, instruments that weren't there before are now present, little details from the producer, and effects are all way better than I think than any plastic or OIP's. Like the new VenHaus Pulsar II Cu IC's, these are super clean and very fast. I don't know what else to say. My all time favorite caps were always the K40Y-9 (after the 400 hrs break-in). I even have them in my Strat. While those were simply pure and fresh butter, I do like the VCap ODAM's better. The ODAM's seem to have taken that butter and put a little salt on it to help clean it up and better define and separate the frequencies to a much higher degree. Tight, clean, and pure sound at reasonable prices. These are now my cap of choice. While $10.00 K40Y-9's are a pretty good tweak, I feel $125 here was well worth it. I am happy and I am certain you will not be let down either.
