Used to be the "audio show" was your local audiophile dealer.
Given the nature of gear auditioning is different, the number of dealers in decline, the amount of used gear that bypasses the dealer network (and markup) - means the reaction is those shows.
I am not sure a "showroom" is anything other than the old bricks and mortar without a sales channel.
