That's a wise move, investing in well-established and reliable companies. Certainly helps with resale.
That said, other than my Marantz, all my gear is from small, less visible manufacturers. I think they make outstanding products, but their low profile doesn't make for high resale values. Not that I'm selling any of my stuff anytime soon. :)
