I agree with all you say in your post. However, like most things in life, the use of ebay is totally discretional and if people don’t like it they should not use it. Pretty simple really.
IMHO anybody who agrees with or resorts to using the tactics described in this threat is lacking integrity. IMV such behaviour from adults is petty and something I would never be party to.
It is fine if people in the thread disagree with me. However, I find it incredible that me advocating proper and courteous conduct can be seen as being ‘on my high-horse’ I was taught from a very young age that “two wrongs don’t make a right†Obviously lots of people don’t share that position.
I am an ebay member and have happily bought hundreds of items off ebay from all over the world. I always leave feedback but I have been in several dozen transactions where the seller leaves no feedback at all. I don’t get ‘bent out of shape’ over that happening and I just continue to conduct myself on ebay in a proper way.
