Only the hifi is connected to these outlets. I've been using these same outlets for my hifi for the last 11 years with no hum issues whatsoever. I'm befuddled. I assume that if the 'stat p/s was causing a problem that the hum would occur only on that one bad speaker. Since, both speakers are humming, I assume it's not the speakers. Is it possible that AI M3A preamps, in general, have some odd electrical interaction with my system so as to cause this intermittenet hum? Keep in mind that I'm getting the hum after trying to different AI M3A units, as well as, 2 differenct amps.
