Hi,

I must say first I'm a Naim fan.

What Linn speakers have you heard ? are these the Keilidh (floor standing, around 1300-1400 $) ? because these make the Naim sound a little bit more bassy and deep than it is with other speakers. I prefer these to Naim own speakers at the price (the Intro's). In general, Naim and Linn are quite synergetical themselves, these companies used to collaborate once.

I use only a Naim amp, and many others are like me - you simply have to get a new quite cheap interconnet or convert yours for the cd->amp.
It would also be advisable to use Naim's own cheap speaker's cable.

I've never heard it, but from what I've read the Ultech can fit nicely. Don't know your speakers. Notice that the Naim is not very strong. While it can handle the speaker, it sounds strong and in control. But if the speakers have too low an impedance, its hard-to-believe 30watts may not suffice.

When I've been to the US, I visited Stereo Exchange on Brodway, and heard a SimAudio integrated at ~1800$ (pw 5000 ?) that they were thining of start selling. I don't know if they did. That's a great integrated. It has a Naim drive, along with a somewhat richer sound, and much more power than the Nait3. If I were you, I wouldn't make a move without hearing it first. I've heard good things about the Exposures also. I would choose from these three : Naim, SimAudio, Exposure.

cheers, Omer.
