IF (big if) you are used to a quality sound from CD... The megachangers are a real disapointment. i tried some and had to take them back.. even trying them via my Adcom600 D/A (used right in your ballpark). The transport mechanism in the mega changers is totally junk. All the money went into the remote and 'bells and whistles'. Besides you have to PROGRAM 300 to 400 separate titles and decide HOW you want them in the unit. After programing 100 I was becoming psychotic. (If you DO get one make sure you get a keyboard) After trying all the toys in them I ultmatly chose a 5 disc changer as the best tradeoff.(and if you have a separate 'quality' player, then you have to get the disc you now want in the single FROM the mega. PITA!!
