I haven't heard the Schiit Gungir Multibit but I really like my Topping D90. However, I consider the Topping to be very detailed with excellent transient impact and transparency. It is not "smooth" like one would expect from a tube DAC or a tube output stage but it does have a nice full bodied robust sound - unlike some others I've owned like Mytek or Oppo. Those sound a bit thin or lean to me.
