At Schenzhenaudio you can return the DAC within 30 days of receipt apparently for no reason at all. You will have to pay return shipping (and obviously you're out the initial shipping charge). The website mentions a restocking fee of 20%, but it's not clear whether that applies only to when they need to reship.
Aoshida, which appears to be one of the few companies selling these DACs and is on Amazon, is also located in China. If you order their DAC now, you can return it by January 31.
After all that, I'm still going to wait till I get my tax refund. At least it will incentivize me to get it done early this year.
