Home Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

I ran a RAID configuration at home for a while, then

Realized it was silly to run two spindles simultaneously for many reasons. Unlike a business application where data is constantly changing, digital libraries are pretty static.

Rather than burning through the MTBF of the mirrored drive, I now keep multiple offline copies via USB hard drives. Each one is used once per month for about an hour for incremental changes. They should last a whole lot longer. :)
