Yes, I have compared these extensively and I would rate them about equal in my system. The HTs may be a bit better at the frequency extremes but, on the other hand, the JPS is a bit fuller in the midrange. The HT cables are significantly more user friendly than the JPS because, as I am sure you know, the later are very stiff. This is only a problem if you plan on changing cables often or if you have limited space between components where that stiffness can become a bit problematic. In addition, the JPS requires significantly greater burn-in than the HTs and they lose their burned-in qualities faster (i.e. if you leave the system off for a few days, the JPS will require several hours of burn-in to sound there best). Incidently, neither of these cables is anywhere near as good as Magnan Vi, Cardas Neutral Reference, Wiregold Eclipse, and several others, in my system and I would be tempted to look for a used set of these cables before plunking down money for a new set of HTs of JPS. That, of course, is just my opinion.
