I've used them successfully.I like DH-Labs quite a bit better although obviously it is three times as expensive. Where it's critical is in D to A runs where you want to recover the clock cleanly. 40MHz. bandwidth is important because a digital audio clock signal is a 6 MHz. square wave and not a 6 MHz.sine wave as is often assumed.
Sony Records and others are using a Belden 4 pair product called MediaTwist and I intend to try it myself as soon as I can get time to solder on some connecters.
