I think the idea behind this wonderful idea is to deliberately sabotage the cables so that you either end up accidentally cutting the whole cable, or making it look very ugly, that either way you end up buying much better cable shortly. :-)Since you like to take pot shots at CJ, I might as well return the favor. :-) But I am not doing this to irritate you. Believe me, I am doing you a big favor. I HATE the Virtuoso - whether platinum or gold. (and there is no bias against the brand or designer, since I used to like the Maestro, and I used to own a bunch of David Salz's Wireworld stuff) It is a master in choking up the music (and yup, so-so bass too). Virtuosos are very famous here because nobody wants em - they are even given away as gift for FREE! (no kiddin) Give yourself a big pat on the behind, and try other cables to hear what I am talkin about.
