Thanks for the response. But I now have a JackAss head on my shoulders cuz the problem turned out to be a bypass switch on the amp that I inadvertently flipped to active. I shut it off. Humming stopped. WHA-WA-WAAAA!Cue closing music from The Three Stooges.
