I've ordered some Belden 9497...

Interconnects, speaker wire, power cords. Ask the Cable Guys.

...as an experiment. It certainly is cheap enough.

I've been using the same QED "original" cable, which I had then deemed "good enough", for years. I'm certainly not interested in overly finished, super thick, sleeved and terminated high-end speaker cables - doesn't go well with very high sensitivity speakers. The simpler the better. Bare terminations.

Depening on the results I will get with the Belden, I might keep it, or it will just open the way for something better.
I will first use it on the high pass (I'm bi-amping).

I really don't know what to expect but on high efficiency pages people have nothing but praise for it...
