Home Cable Asylum

Interconnects, speaker wire, power cords. Ask the Cable Guys.

radical idea

well, not so radical, but really a copy of the upper line Kimber Bifocals and such; just with less fill and spacers.

Since you have two lengths of TC, try puffing up one length and inserting the other length in the middle of the first cable's braid, making a concentric run of cable. This way the coupled inductance is actually being used to propagate the signal faster. That's what I hear, at any rate. Two coincidental runs of Kimber sound better than two side by side ones.

Be aware that puffing up the outer braid will shorten the overall length.

Incidentally i use the Kimber TC puffed up over older AQ cables like the Midnight and the system works extremely well, with both cables augmenting the performance of each other.
