I just finished making a pair of CAT5 speaker cable using your braiding method. They sound better than my AQ midnight and Tara Lab (Space Time & Return); better dynamic, deeper and tighter bass, extended highs, and wider soundstage. I like them a lot.In case you might be interested, my current system consists of Denon CD player, Sota Shaphire with Grado cart., home-brew preamp and power amp(pre: 417A with output transformer. power: 211 driven by 6SN7s), speakers are the Ariel - designed by Lynn Olson. Interconnects are Cardas hexlink.
Now I need to make a pair of 15' interconnects. Any idea?
