I'm serching that tubes because I read on an old book that Gold Aero make a very good selection for the platinum series.
I need that tubes for an No compromise dual mono Hi Fi audio Preamplifier, if you have any suggestion about the best sounding ECC 82 and ECC 83 I accept it with the much thanks as possible.
I need of a couple of ECC 82 and a couple of ECC 83.
If you are a better choice I do not have any doubt to have that.Thank's a lot

Maurizio,I suggest you do a search in the tubes section of (this) audioasylum for gold aero. They were a tube reseller. They didn't make anything. I think the platinum series was relabeled new old stock or as Uncle Ned describes the relabeling process, they put "phony brand names, or put fancy gold lettering and boxes on them, or tell you that little elves in the Black Forest made them in order to charge you 5 or 10 times what they're worth"

The Gold Aero tubes were similar to the Ram Labs tubes, i.e. they were new manufacture and NOS tubes that were graded and tested and then relabeled. If you needed a low noise tube or a super low noise tube for a phonostage then the service they provided was worth it to some.
